Standing gracefully along the streets of Oran, LOPEZ announces itself with quiet confidence. Its luminous cream façade, crowned by bold golden lettering and framed by a sweeping dark-trimmed arch, draws you in before you've even crossed the threshold. Flanked by slender olive trees and lush ground plantings, the entrance is an invitation — to slow down, to savour, to belong.

A Space That Speaks in Textures

Step inside, and the world transforms.

LOPEZ is a masterclass in material harmony. Walls of hand-textured plaster in warm greige tones meet the cool, veined magnificence of Carrara marble — wrapping the bar counter, climbing the café station walls, and flowing seamlessly across the polished floors. The contrast is intentional, the tension exquisite.

Dramatic arched niches in aged dark stone punctuate the dining room with architectural depth, their inner edges softly illuminated by warm LED strips that cast a honeyed glow across the emerald velvet banquettes below. It is theatre, made liveable.

Light as a Design Element

Few spaces understand light the way LOPEZ does.

A constellation of sculptural alabaster pendants — organic, cloud-like, weightless — drift above the dining room, their translucent forms diffusing a warm, amber luminosity. In the café zone, cascading circular disc pendants suspended from twin matte-black rails create a rhythmic visual spectacle, a chandelier reimagined for the modern age.

Every light source has been curated not merely to illuminate, but to set a mood, to define a moment.

The Café Bar

At the heart of the space lies the Caffé — a shrine to the ritual of coffee. Framed within a backlit marble arch, the bar is both functional and sculptural. Sleek espresso machines, artisan pastry displays, and warm under-counter lighting transform the act of ordering into an experience worth lingering over.

Bar stools in rich walnut and black leather line the counter — the perfect perch for those who prefer their mornings front and centre.
